Gotta Leak? No Problem September 5, 2010 In Colorado I guess it seems odd that I'm writing about leaks and rating the product Five out of Five. We have had several of these beds over the years, and they have all performed well. However, on a recent outing in a rustic cabin my VERY ACTIVE four-year old son's aerobed developed a leak. I thought it might be from his jumping up and down on it. Upon further examination, I found what appeared to be a splinter puncture. We happened to have along with us a roll of duct tape. With one 6-inch piece of tape over the leak site we were completely back in business. The bed held air good as new for the duration of the trip. I'm sure the splinter was our fault as it was in the side-wall of the bed and not the bottom surface that contacts the ground.
We love our kid-size Aerobeds August 28, 2010 Shonda S. (Shreveport, LA) I just purchased 2 of these Aerobeds for my little girls to replace the cheap princess ones I purchased at Target (they didn't last 2 weeks). I was VERY impressed that this item received 5 stars with 541 reviews (as of August 2010). My 3 and 4 year old daughters slept on them for the first time last night..."camping" in the living room. This is the first night in almost 3 months that my 4 year old didn't end up in my bed...so I'm gonna say it's a BIG hit in our house...she obviously slept comfortably. It was SUPER easy to inflate. It comes with a small pump and a storage bag. We look forward to many more nights "camping" in the living room. OH...and Amazon is one of the few online sites that has it for the GREAT low price. It's nearly $80 on most other sites. This family gives it 2 thumbs up. =)
review August 25, 2010 no pet This is my second toddler aero bed. I used the first one until it started leaking the second time. It was well used. A friend borrowed it for not the first time. I said if you can patch it you can have it. I then ordered a second one for me. My oldest grandson is 11 1/2 and had used it for years. Now my last grandson who is 2 1/2 uses it when he sleeps over. It is a nice size, I love the rounded edges to give the comfort feel to a young child. I also have other aero beds that get a lot of uses between my house and my daughters next door.
worked OK until the leak August 24, 2010 C. Hunt (Ohio, USA) we purchased it for my 2 year old grandchild could use it while on vacation- it worked great for a few days and then a small leak developed- we wanted to send it back to amazon but the instructions say "everywhere" do not send it to the seller-send it back to aerobed- well from what I have read sending it back to aerobed could take months for a repair or replacement- I have not done that yet- so it sits in the bag- we only used it for one week....and yes it is noisy but it seemed to bother us more than the 2 year old...
Aero bed is all good August 22, 2010 Jeff Young (Michigan) The aero bed is great. My 5 year old slept on it four nights. Size seemed ok. There is a little noise when moving around, but nothing I was concerned about. The pump worked great, and it seems like the bed is high quality. I would recommend this to anyone. I would think that a kid older than 6 and a half might be too big for it.
